Two very large storm detentions basins created on the top of Chesapeake (pictured) and on top of Applewood to capture, hold and slowly release storm water into local streams. Reducing basement flooding drastically.
I was the chairman of the Citizens Floodwater Committee establishing some of these solutions to protect your homes.

I was an active member of city council pushing for and voting for the purchase and transformation of the Avalon Event Center into the current YMCA used by hundreds of residents for their health and enjoyment. I pushed for 8 lane pool to support our High school swim team. The larger pool allows for multiple activities to take place at once.

I was a supporting member of city council who approved the new N.Royalton library that is used by thousands annually. With information, computers and meeting rooms to support OUR community.

I was a supporting council member voting for and encouraging a community asset for our younger citizens. Utilizing our Covid funding, we built the North Royalton Splash Pad that is one of the most popular public amenities in North Royalton.

Created from my idea suggestion to Mayor Antoskiewicz to use part of former Royal View Elementary as a Senior center, it is now open and serving a record number of our senior residents in a large, bright and functional facility. Stop in M-Thr. 8 am to 4 pm.

For more than 10 years the residents of Ward 1 have trusted me to represent them on city council. I take my role seriously and try to resolve as many issues as possible working with the Mayor and city administration. I work from a pragmatic common sense approach. Often looking outside of the box for solutions.

Why do you want to be on city council? I am a service oriented person, I enjoy interfacing with my neighbors, helping where I can. Sometimes that is actual hands on support.
